Choctaw Nation Appellate Court Division

The Choctaw Nation Court of Appeals exercises appellate jurisdiction for cases appealed in the District Court. The court’s primary function is to review the procedures and decisions to ensure that the proceedings were fair and the proper law was applied correctly.

About the Choctaw Nation Appellate Court Division

The Appellate Division has full authority over any appeal from the District Court to affirm, reverse, modify or vacate any action in the District Court or other entity from which an appeal is taken as authorized by law.
