Choctaw Nation Appellate Court

The Choctaw Nation Appellate Court exercises appellate jurisdiction for cases appealed from the District Court. The Court’s primary function is to review the procedures and decisions to ensure that the proceedings were fair and the proper law was applied correctly.

The Appellate Division has full authority over any appeal from the District Court to affirm, reverse, modify or vacate any action in the District Court or other entity from which an appeal is taken as authorized by law.
